Short answer: To convert PNG to PDF, drop your images above, choose PDF and click Convert. Each image becomes a one-page PDF, and transparent areas are filled with white or the color you choose. Nothing is uploaded.

Screenshots, diagrams and exported designs usually arrive as PNG, yet the person you are sending them to wants a PDF. This page puts each PNG into its own PDF page directly in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, so confidential screenshots stay private, and you can convert a stack of images at once.

What do you get?

Every PNG becomes a separate one-page PDF whose page matches the picture's proportions, so nothing is cropped or stretched. The image is embedded as a high-quality JPEG inside the PDF, controlled by the quality slider. That keeps files small enough for email. This page does not merge several images into a single document, so a batch gives you a ZIP of individual PDFs.

Transparent areas

PDF pages here are opaque, so transparent parts of your PNG are filled with a background color. White is the default, and the page warns you before you convert. If your graphic is designed for a dark background, pick a matching color in Advanced options first. Otherwise a white-on-transparent logo would vanish against the white page.

Tips for good results

Use PNGs at the size you want to print or share, because a tiny image stretched across a page looks soft. Screenshots with small text are best kept at quality 90 or above, since heavier compression can blur the letters. Remember that the text in a screenshot is part of the picture, so it cannot be selected or searched in the PDF afterwards.

Using PDFs for documentation

Teams often paste screenshots into tickets and reports. Converting a screenshot to PDF keeps its proportions, makes it easy to attach, and stops chat tools from recompressing it. For a series of steps, convert the screenshots with a rename pattern such as step-{n}, which numbers the PDFs in order. If your screenshot has a dark theme with a transparent edge, choose a dark background color first. For large screens, set a width of 1600 pixels so the PDF stays small while the text remains readable.

Questions people ask

Can I merge several PNGs into one PDF?

Not on this page. Each image becomes its own PDF, and a batch is downloaded as a ZIP.

What happens to transparent backgrounds?

They are filled with a color, white by default. You can change it in Advanced options.

Will small text stay readable?

Yes at quality 90 or higher. Lower settings can blur small text.

Why is my PDF so large when it only holds a few screenshots?

Each page stores the full picture. Reduce the width in Advanced options before converting, for example to 1600 pixels, and the PDF shrinks with it.

Can someone copy the text from my screenshot PDF?

Not as text. The page is a picture of the text, so it can be read but not searched or selected unless someone runs text recognition on it.
